Natalie Portman’s Academy Award-winning horror movie, Rosemary’s Baby, has been adapted into a sequel, Apartment 7A. The film follows the story of Terry, a young woman who dreams of achieving fame and material success. Despite its originality, Apartment 7A initially seems too similar to Portman’s original film, Black Swan. The film’s opening arc features Terry as a dancer, but her obsession with material success leads to terrifying consequences. Despite its potential, Apartment 7A falls into familiar horror territory and fails to explore Terry’s journey towards success.
