Today, the rain was heavier than ever, and worry crept into Naseroo and Mahboobah’s hearts. Although the goats usually returned to the farm instinctively by sunset, this time, there was no sign of them. The sky was darker than ever, and the sound of the wind broke the farm’s usual silence. Naseroo , with worry etched on his face, quickly got ready and set off towards the mountains with Mahbooba. The path was filled with rocks and mud, and each step they took became harder than the last. The rain lashed down on them like a torrent, making the search even more difficult. After hours of scouring the mountains, they finally found the goats. With great effort, Naseroo and Mahbooba managed to bring them back home. Once they returned, Naseroo got to work immediately. Mahbuba, who didn’t seem to be feeling well, sat by the old heater, struggling to catch her breath. Naseroo began preparing a warm meal while also working to get the heater running to reduce the chill in the house. But things took a turn for the worse when they realized Marzia had been injured. She was crying bitterly, a sight that broke everyone’s heart.
