While their older children have grown up in the spotlight, there’s one thing they do differently with Rocky

After Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker welcomed baby Rocky last year, many fans were no doubt hoping to watch him grow up through the power of social media.

But the couple have remained somewhat private, choosing to hide their faces when posting snaps on social media.

Kourtney, 45, is also mum to Mason, Penelope and Reign – whom she shares with ex Scott Disick – while Travis, 48, shares Alabama and Leighton with Shannon Moakler, after she has also reportedly remained close to her stepdaughter Atiana.

But while their older children have grown up as familiar faces on Instagram or reality TV shows, parents are eager to do things a little differently with Rocky.

On a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney spoke about her choice to hide his face, and her fears about traveling with him to Australia, where paparazzi are “everywhere.”

“I was starting to feel a little nervous about going to Australia,” she said.

“Rocky has not been seen, and in California there is a law that says if I don’t show a baby’s face, the photographers have to blur it out, but in Australia there are supposedly no laws for photographers to be able to take a picture and sell it.” “Their picture.”

While visiting a Sydney beach with her other kids in another episode, Kourtney spotted a “stalking” paparazzi.

“The paparazzi are everywhere,” she told the camera.

Travis has now also echoed his wife’s concerns, explaining in a new interview how they chose to keep their youngest child “out of the spotlight.”

Commenting on the recent leak of Rocky’s photo, Travis said: “Unfortunately, someone finally got a photo of him, but we prefer to keep him out of the limelight.

“If I could have done everything differently, I would have done the same thing with my [older] kids,” Travis continued.

“I think it’s weird when you grow up and you’re 15 or 12, and you’re like, ‘Mom, did you post that about me?’

The pair were initially somewhat elusive about Rocky’s arrival, leaving fans to rely on speculation that he was born amid media reports that Courtney was in hospital.

Although they have since posted photos of him several times on their feeds, his face is always either obscured or away from the camera.

Travis Barker has spoken out about the huge parenting choice he and Kourtney Kardashian are struggling to protect, following news that a photo of their son leaked on social media.

The couple married in 2022 before welcoming their first child together, a boy named Rocky, who was born the following year.
