This for many was unexpected as he is usually pretty about his love life but has recently been regularly expressing his love for her openly on social media.

The question is why the sudden shift. Speaking to People, the Pink Panther star explains why he has chosen to not keep everything off-line.

“I’m still private, and I want to protect that, but it just felt like it was a moment of just wanting to put it out there and move on,” he said. “I am extremely happy.”
He continued, “I think when you get older, you feel more comfortable about the [public nature] of the business that we’re in. So for me, it was a moment to, I guess, take ownership of that and then get back to work.”
The two have gotten close pretty quickly recently. A source speaking to people said;

“they have gotten serious quickly. It’s obvious that they don’t want to be apart.”

“When they don’t travel together, Lori spends a lot of time in Los Angeles with Michael.”

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight another source confirmed that both families were happy with the relationship.

“Michael B. Jordan’s family likes Lori, and vice versa,” the source said. “Lori is everything Michael’s family could have hoped for him to find. She’s lovely, respectful, and fits in perfectly. Her friends also think he’s great for her. Everyone around them approves of their relationship. Things have gotten serious fast, but there have been no red flags. They’re both totally invested, committed, and very happy.”
