Marzia & Madison were two dwarf Hamsters we rehomed at about 6 months old. Their first owner didn’t really research their breed and thought they would be a good pet for her 2 year old to interact with and handle.

After time and patience we did manage to tame both these girls but FAST was always their middle name. Any handling had to be done with caution to ensure they didn’t jump out of our hands onto the floor. We gave them a much bigger enclosure with two wheels so not only could they run around the cage. They could also exercise on the wheel without having to fight for a turn. They have since passed on but we will always have special memories of these two happy and energetic girls.
