In October, football fans were deprived of another enticing showdown between titans Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, after Ronaldo was sidelined due to illness. Prayers to the footballing gods were answered though in Juventus and Barcelona’s final UEFA Champions League group match, with Ronaldo and USMNT midfielder Weston McKennie guiding the Old Lady to a 3-0 win and pole position in the group. Alejandro Moreno, Craig Burley and Shaka join Dan Thomas on ESPN FC to berate Barcelona’s performance and pick apart Ronald Koeman’s lack of tactical nous against the relatively inexperienced Andrea Pirlo.
