Amazon’s I Know What You Did Last Summer tv series didn’t last but the series will return with a new movie from Jen Robinson and Leah Mckendrick. This was revealed last February and it will be a legacy sequel passing the torch to young stars. The original film starred Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prinze Jr, and Ryan Phillippe. Hewitt and Prinze were asked to return reportedly, but Julie James return seems more important than Ray’s. What’s the latest on the script? Julie’s importance has been explained by Leah Mckendrick. Jennifer Love Hewitt has confirmed talks for her return as Julie James have happened. Cast for the upcoming legacy sequel has been announced. Karla is still canon for this upcoming sequel. Jennifer Love Hewitt is officially back! Her status has allegedly caused drama on set.
